How to retrieve Jira custom fields in QuickSight data connection?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to connect QuickSight to our Jira instance, but I’m facing an issue with custom fields. The standard Jira connector in QuickSight only brings in the default/standard fields, and I cannot see any of our custom fields in the dataset.

I’ve also tried using the Jira Cloud integration, but it doesn’t seem to work for exporting these custom field records.

Has anyone successfully pulled Jira custom fields into QuickSight? What approach or workaround did you use?

Some additional context:

  • Using QuickSight’s native Jira connector

  • Need to include custom fields in my reports

  • Jira Cloud integration hasn’t resolved the issue

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
