How to update the data in s3 to refresh the quicksight

HI,

I want to refresh my data in quicksight whenever I changed the file in s3. I try to change the file in s3 but which is not reflecting in quicksight.

Please help me on this to resolve

Hi,

Seems currently you are using S3 as data source, with S3 you need to refresh data in SPICE, to get those changes in files.

If you want to query data in S3 bucket in QuickSight as realtime/live update, one option is to use Athena as data source with direct query. Collection of files in S3 bucket will be presented as Glue catalog table(s) (by glue crawler) and when you load QuickSight dashboard Athena direct query connector will query data from S3 bucket files. This was you can overcome need for SPICE refresh.
