Currently, only a PDF and image of the selected sheet is displayed/attached in the email reports. Image is not high quality and gets truncated which is a bad experience for stakeholders.
Showing the sheet as HTML content in email and also Excel attachment would definitely be a major value add. Is there any such feature in pipeline OR any other way to achieve this with current Quicksight version?
Agree on this - the quality of the images (and formatting in general) of the email reports is a source of embarrassment for us, and because of that we don’t actively promote these to customers, we only fall back on it if they ask (and even then with the caveat “it’s a bit rubbish”). Would be great if it could be, well, less rubbish.
