Is there a way to enable viewer of a dataset to view custom SQL (but unable to edit).
Maybe view the schema of the dataset.

Is it possible?

Hi,

If you are using Direct Query method you can view , add or modify the query.

You cannot view query in dataset as dataset give the graphical presentation
of the join and filter condition etc.
