Is there a way to track which chart did the user visit in the dashboard?

Hi,

I was wondering if there’s a way to track detailed usage of the QuickSight dashboard? e.g., which chart/report did the user export from the QS dashboard? Which exact sheet did they visit out of the 6 sheets in the dashboard? etc.

This would be helpful to understand the actual usage of data/reports. Thanks.

Hi @irinaaaaa,

As of now, I do not believe there is any Quick native method to track that information. The only way I could see similar behavior being achievable is through recording relevant AWS Cloudtrail/Cloudwatch metrics or other third-party methods. However, I will make sure to mark this post as a Feature Request and archive it so that the AWS Team may address this in the future!
