I’m getting following error when trying to left-join two datasets with the RLS rules applied to each.
Joining tables from different sources requires SPICE, which this dataset isn't permitted to use. To continue, you'll need to remove the join.
But I’m also able to see the joined datasets, just not able to publish it.
Would appreciate some help on this one.
Yes this is not possible. You would have first join and then apply RLS on the final dataset.

Thanks for your response.
I think then applying a RLS on top of a dataset is also making it no-longer extensible.
It would be a good feature to have though for our case we were able to find a work around.
