I don’t need to format dates already dave date in the format.
As we have the Year Drop Down in the date field, is this possible for the month also to get same drop down in the same date field.
Missing Drop down for Month.

This is how the date picker works, drop down for year, you navigate the months with the arrows back and forth and select the day with a click.
If you need a dropdown for the month you can create a specific filter for this based on the community post i mentioned. It is not as neat as a date picker but tou can achive what you want.
I will mark this as a feature request too.
