Hi,
When I create a multi select dropdown and unselecting all the values in the dropdown including the default values. Can I able keep an placeholder saying “Please select any metrics” instead of showcasing dropdown parameter box empty?

There is no placeholder, but there is the option of adding an “info icon” on the control under the “Format Control” menu:
Whilst not the requested solution, does it provide an alternative?

Thanks for the reply but I need that inside the dropdown box as I’m not using the title. Please let me know if it is possible or not.

Currently you can’t add “Please select any metrics” or any message inside the drop down box. The only option would be the info icon as @abacon described above. I will mark this as a feature request.
