I have recently added a new field to my source and fully refreshed the QuickSight datasets. The new filed appears in the list of fields when i edit the dataset, but it is not available for Analysis either in the existing dashboards or when i create a new analysis and use this dataset.

Welcome to the QuickSight community!
Please note that whenever you change the table structure, you need to click SAVE & PUBLISH. This action refreshes the data and updates the backend to reflect the structural changes.
