Not able to delete QS dashboard that I own or co-own

I’m not seeing the “Delete” option for the dashboard or analysis that I own/co-own. What’s missing?

Hello @haolunw, I have a few questions so I can help resolve this issue. Are there any dashboards in the account that you are able to delete? If not, you may be missing that functionality from the policy that is linked to your QuickSight role.

Alternatively, if it is specific dashboards/analyses that you are not able to delete, do you own the datasets that are linked to them? It is possible you may not have the permissions to delete the dashboard if you don’t own the connected datasets.

Last thought, if it is a dashboard, check if you have Save As permissions. I wouldn’t be surprised if excluding that option would keep you from being able to delete the dashboard.

I got this resolved - i need to add the dashboard to a folder or to my favorite, and then I will be able to delete it
