Output to CSV from Embedded Dashboard (in an iFrame)

I have an embedded Dashboard in an external website which displays the output options

However, when I select output to csv or excel, it’s states the job is complete but I cannot find the output. It does not appear in my Downloads folder.

any suggestions as to what to do or where it goes.

Hi @Teepees,
This is interesting, I just tested out in Chrome and it worked fine for me, what browser are you using?
Additionally, are you testing this on a pivot table? Can you try testing on a regular table to see if that works as well? (I was only able to test out on a regular table and it may be some type of bug with pivot tables specifically).
Last question, are you able to test out to see if the export works in the QuickSight console, so are you only encountering the issue with an embedded version?

Hi, thanks for the reply. In answer to your questions

  1. We use Chrome but will test with another Browser.
  2. Yes, it’s a pivot table
  3. Yes it works in the QS console.
  4. Will test with a regular table and reply here.

Have tested with a standard Table through website (embedded Dashboard) and they Export as downloads to my default local download folder.

Hi @Teepees,
Interesting, thank you for testing out to check a regular table. This seems like it may be a bug with Pivot tables then and the best route to take next would be creating a support ticket with the AWS team. They should be able to assist further with bugs.
