Page Navigation in Quick Sight

I have a dashboard with 6 pages one page for each program. i don’t want 6 pages visible to customer. so can i have 5 tiles which navigates to other pages but not visible these pages to customer (hide them)? so each page has 5 tiles of other pages and customer can see only one page at any given time?

Hi @Shivananda

I can think of a workaround for your requirement — since in Quick Sight we can’t hide pages (sheets) and then make them visible dynamically when a user clicks on a visual.

Instead, here’s an approach you can try:

Break your 6 pages into 6 separate dashboards — one for each program.

Then, in each dashboard, you can add visuals (like KPIs or images) that use URL actions to link to the other dashboards. For example:

  • In the “Program A” dashboard, you include visuals that link to dashboards for Programs B, C, D, etc.
  • When the user clicks a visual, they are navigated to the selected program’s dashboard — which gives the feel of switching pages, without showing any navigation bar.

This way, users will only see the dashboard they landed on and use your visuals to explore the rest — exactly like navigating through tiles, but across dashboards.

Let me know if this helps or need any additional information.

Thank you,

Thank you for this workaround, but im looking to have only one dashboard/report with multiple pages. Page hiding something a basic functionality which is offered by any other BI tools and i really hope Amazon will look into it as a feature request.

@Shivananda

Yeah agree.

We can hide pages in Quick Sight by only publishing the master sheet and keeping other sheets unpublished.
But we cannot show hidden pages dynamically when a user clicks on a visual — for the navigation actions to work, all target pages must be visible in the published version.

So if your goal is to use visuals as clickable “navigation tiles,” then all destination sheets need to be published and visible.
