Hi, Is there a easy way for dashboard owner to check how many times/users have been clicked or viewed the dashboard on daily basis?
Hi @carrie
Welcome to the Quick Sight community!
Yes, its possible.
Option1: Quick Sight automatically publishes usage metrics to CloudWatch in the AWS/Quick Sight/Dashboard Metrics
namespace. Key metrics include:
- DashboardViewCount – Total number of views (web, mobile, embedded).
- DashboardViewLoadTime – Average load time of the dashboard.
Option2: If you want to track who
viewed the dashboard and when
, integrate CloudTrail logs. Use CloudTrail, Glue, and Athena to extract user-level insights. Refer to this AWS Blog.
