Good day Team,
Would you please help us with the queries below,
-
Are we unable to add filters in paginated reports? It would be really helpful to use parameters in paginated reports, similar to how we are using in interactive dashboards.
-
When generating the PDF, all the vertical data gets exported, but data beyond the horizontal limit does not. Do we have a solution for this?
-
When we published the dashboard, we saw it as shown in the snapshot. we can’t see the content of the report in the UI. The report is also scheduled
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @andres007,
Thank you for your prompt response.
Regarding the first point, I assume there is no option to provide a filter where the user can select the date range to generate the report.
Thanks!
What you can do for that is to create 2 sheets, one being an interactive sheet where you define the parameters used for the filters you need. The user will need to go to this sheet to select the relevant parameters. Then go to the report page and hit generate PDF.

The PDF generated will include the data filtered based on the parameter selected in the interactive sheet.
Hope this works for you!
Hi @andres007 ,
There were no errors in the generation, and we received an email as scheduled. However, the report content is still not visible in the UI.
Thanks!
That is strange, can you check your schedule and make sure the report you are generating under Sheet is the same sheet you are looking at?
Hi @andres007 ,
Yes, I have created a dashboard with both interactive and paginated reports and set up a schedule. I received an email as scheduled, and the reports look correct in the email. However, while the interactive reports are displaying correctly in the UI, the paginated reports are not reflecting the data.
Thanks!
So you do not see a drop down with the different reports that have run?

Just in case, can you create a new schedule and test? If that does not work correctly they I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf.
Hope this helps!
Hi @andres007,
We see a dropdown with the different reports that have run.

Thank you!
Those are the outputs of the paginated reports, are you getting any errors when you select them? The snapshots should be the same that you are recieving via email.
Hi @andres007 ,
No, we have not seen any errors when we select them, and the snapshots are the same as those we received via email.
Thank you!
Hello @tdr_Dinesh,
Not sure how to follow up on this, if you see the date of the snapshots, but when selecting them you do not see anything it is hard to continue troubleshooting in this forum.

Thanks!
Sure @andres007,
Thank you for your assistance.
