I have created multiple separate dataset & then merge or join them into one dataset.
Now I have edit or made some changes in one of the dataset, I also did save & publish.
But that column is not showing in the joined dataset, I save & publish the joined dataset also.
Also I did manual refresh to both place still that column doesn’t show up in the joined dataset but it is visible in that separate dataset although when I am checking it through “show table preview” of that dataset it is there but not showing in the joined pane.
did you checked the “excluded fields” area?
New fields will appear first there.
Thanks for the reply I get the field in “Excluded fields”.
Is this a expected behaviour or can we make it to update automatically?
What do you mean
be Is this a expected behaviour or can we make it to update automatically?
I just want to know that the new added fields in the dataset comes into the “excluded fields” so those fields can’t directly comes into the “All field” section.
ok. yes. in case new fields are added on a datasource or (master) dataset level, the field will be listed at “excluded fields”. Because QS cant deside the new field is relevant for (all) the slave datasets.
