How can I create a prediction for the retention of customers?

Creating customer retention predictions can be accomplished through Amazon QuickSight’s forecasting capabilities. QuickSight allows you to build forecasts when using the natural language interface of Amazon QuickSight Q by simply asking to “forecast sales by month”. Refer here

The forecasting feature shows expected values with lower and upper bounds, as forecasting is not an exact science.

When working with forecasting in QuickSight, you can configure properties such as forecast length, seasonality, and boundaries to customize your predictions.

Additionally, you can find more details about the algorithms used for forecasting in the QuickSight documentation.

To improve Q’s understanding of your business terminology, you can fine-tune Q topics by defining synonyms in the Data Fields section and setting default dates for each dataset.
