We’re using Amazon QuickSight to embed dashboards into our product application. In both bar and line charts, users are seeing the “Analyze contributions” option (as shown in the attached screenshot), particularly when they hover over a chart item.
When users click this option, it opens a panel showing all dataset fields, allowing them to explore and interact with underlying data. However, we do not want end users to have access to explore or see these dataset fields for security and simplicity reasons.
Is there a way to disable or hide the “Analyze contributions” feature entirely from charts? We couldn’t find any setting in the dashboard or visual-level controls to turn this off.
Any guidance on how to prevent this or best practices to control end-user access to dataset exploration would be appreciated!
