Quick Sight Paginated Reports – Pricing Clarification on Report Units

Hi Team,

I have a question regarding pricing for Quick Sight paginated (pixel-perfect) reports.

As per documentation, 1 report unit is defined as up to 100 pages (or 100 MB). I want to confirm how report units are calculated in practice.

For example:

  • Report A1 has 5 pages

  • Report A2 has 195 pages

In this case, will the cost be calculated as:

  1. Per report execution:

    • A1 = 1 unit

    • A2 = 2 units

    • Total = 3 units

OR

  1. Cumulative across reports:

    • Total pages = 200 → 2 units overall

Can you please confirm whether report units are calculated per individual report execution or cumulatively across multiple reports?

Thanks in advance!

Hello @VISHNUPRIYA7403, this is a great question! I understand that the pricing for pixel-perfect reports is a bit confusing so I can help clarify.

The report counts are going to be managed per execution and not cumulatively between reports. In the example you included, this would count as 3 reports. The count resets for each individual document that you send. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi Dylan,

Thank you for the clarification — that really helps clear things up! Appreciate your quick response.
