I am trying to create a simple flow (I call it simple as I could have set up an Android phone to do this about 15 years ago, and would have taken about 5 minutes), to check our EAM queue (which it either can’t or won’t do, so I manually gave it a .csv file to use), and send out a reminder message in Slack every morning, reminding the team of work orders due that day. It CONSTANTLY tells me in the chat window, that everything is just peachy and my flow will run as intended. However, elsewhere in the site, it tells me things like, and I am paraphrasing here, “Quick flows cannot automate messages, Quick flows chat agent recommends using Quick flows to automate messages instead.” It is consistently contradicting it’s self with behavior like this. Complete waste of several hours of my life trying to get this thing to work, while it constantly tells me it will work, out of one side of it’s metaphorical mouth, and that it can’t work, out of the other. Someone please help me make sense of this!
Hi @Jay_Matz and welcome to the Quick Community!
I understand where the frustration may be stemming from in this scenario; just to confirm, have you verified that you’ve setup your slack integration correctly?
I’ll leave this tagged as an ‘error’ to raise awareness to the support team as well.
Hey @Brett thank you for the quick response. To be honest, I am not sure how I would verify that, or if I have. I did do the test messages, and they went through fine.
Hi @Jay_Matz
Following up here as it has been a while since last communication took place on this thread. Were you able to test out the suggestions provided above, and if so, was it successful in your situation.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions, if we do not hear back from you in the next 3 business days, I will go ahead and mark this as solved.
Thank you.
