I’m experiencing a persistent “Something went wrong - For more information see Set IAM policy” error when trying to access “Manage AWS resources” in Quick Suite.
What I’ve tried:
- Deleted and recreated Quick Suite account
- Created IAM service role with proper trust policy for quicksight.amazonaws.com
- Added comprehensive IAM permissions to my user including:
- quicksight:*
- iam:CreateRole, GetRole, ListRoles, PassRole
- s3:ListAllMyBuckets
- athena:ListDataCatalogs, GetDataCatalog

Current situation:
- Can access Quick Suite console
- Can see Security & Permissions sections
- Cannot click “Manage AWS resources” - gets error immediately
- Cannot assign the IAM role I created for Quick Suite
Goal: Connect Quick Suite to Athena for data analysis

Account type: [Enterprise]
