Recover/transfer Amazon Quick account assets after premature deactivation — Intern offboarding Fri Aug 15 (time-sensitive)

Requesting recovery or cross-account transfer of Amazon Quick (Q Business) account assets for an intern whose account was prematurely deactivated due to an incorrect end date in the system.

WHAT HAPPENED - The My original Amazon Quick account was deactivated early because of an incorrect end date. - They have since been reactivated, but on a NEW/fresh account. All assets from the prior account appear to be gone. IMPACT - Lost assets include a custom AI agent built for the internship project (agent configuration), along with associated files and conversation history.

REQUEST - Determine whether the prior account’s assets (agent config, files, conversations) can be recovered, OR transferred to the current active account.

ACCOUNT DETAILS - Affected user (intern): Lakim Williams — Amazon alias: lakifwil - Current/active AWS account ID: 764946308314 - Prior/deactivated AWS account ID: <old account ID, if known> - Site: TEB6

TIMELINE (time-sensitive) - Internship ends Friday, Aug 14, 2026. Access to the current account will likely be lost after that date, so any recovery/transfer needs to complete before EOD Fri Aug 14.

PRIOR STEPS - Already raised in Slack #amazon-quick-support (triage) with support’s help. Directed here via Ticket Router (Quick Suite → AWS / Support Operations - Q Business / Customer Issue) to reach a team with account/back end visibility.

REQUESTED OUTCOME - Confirmation of whether recovery/transfer is possible, and if so, execution before the Aug 14 off-boarding deadline.

Hi @lakifwil and welcome to the Quick Community!
Please note that this is a public facing forum, therefore we would not have the ability to assist with private account issues. I would suggest reaching out internally to someone within your organization that can further assist with this!
