Redshift Instance not found for my account

When I try to create a dataset using Redshift (Auto-Discovery), it shows no instance detected for this account in this region.

I have looked through my Security Group for the redshift instance, it allows All traffic from IPv4 and IPv6. I also tried specifiying IP range provided in Quicksight Documentation for my region in my security group, which is: Asia Pacific (Singapore) (ap-southeast-1) Website for user access – https://ap-southeast-1.quicksight.aws.amazon.com Service API endpoint – quicksight.ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com IP address range for data source connectivity – 13.229.254.0/27

Then, I tried creating dataset using Redshift (Manual), and also error.

Hi @danial

Thank you for letting us know.

Please refer the following QuickSight documentation and videos this might be helpful for you.

If none of this works. I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!

Hi @Xclipse ,

Thanks for providing the documentation for this. Unfortunately I have tried the steps provided but still cannot manage to connect to my Redshift instance on Quicksight.

Anyways, I will create a case with AWS Support to resolve this Issue.
