Remove the Total column header when the total column is hidden

I have two metric columns and I want to hide the total column for one of them, but I can’t see how to remove the column header for that hidden total column. It’s the text in pink on the screenshot. Note this is showing the column’s data but hiding the data seems to have no effect on the header.

Hi @a15qxzz and welcome to the QuickSight community!
To my understanding, it’s currently not possible to hide one total and show another with the current pivot table setup in QuickSight.
The only work around I can suggest, although not quite sure they can be used in this scenario, would be to look in to the ability to setup a subtotal instead of a total so that you can switch one on and one off.

In terms of total’s options on pivot tables, I’ll mark this as a feature request to promote visibility to the support team.

Thank you!

Hi @a15qxzz,
While I’ve marked this as a feature request already, wanted to follow up and confirm if you had any additional questions?

If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.

Thank you!
