Is there any way for a repetitive action to an integrator to be approved once, rather than every time - this is particularly distracting for an Agent that makes many API calls as part of answering a question?
Hi @garry.johnston ,
Unfortunately, there is no other way around it as with a lot of integration actions that I have seen you will be required to approve most actions at every occurrence. Multiple other community users have noted their frustration on the tedious nature of this experience. However, I want to say at a previous user series webinar I heard the speaker state something about trying to reduce the need to approval multiple times. Unsure when this feature will be implemented but if you would like, I can attach the ‘feature-request’ tag to this post which can help increase visibility to the Quick Team.
Thanks for the reply Jacob - that would be appreciated.
@JacobR, also interested why there is an inconsistency in the actions behaviors - for outlook, Sharepoint, etc. they don’t require an approval for read actions, yet for OpenAPI configured readonly connections to say a CRM, they do require approvals for both read and write. There doesn’t appear to be a flag or setting for this to be changed, however, would greatly reduce the frustration for read transactions to third party applications.
Has anyone any insight on this?
Hi @garry.johnston ,
That is a great observation! My guess is that Quick identifies and treats built-in integrations like outlook differently than OpenAPI so that might be why there is an inconsistency. I have already attached the ‘feature-request’ tag to this post, and once I mark this post as complete, then the feature request with all your comments and observations will be processed on the system support side for the Quick team.
