I’m building a Quick Flow that reads emails from Outlook and creates Asana tasks automatically every 15 minutes. The flow works, but it requires manual approval at three steps:
Creating Asana tasks
Sending confirmation emails
Marking emails as read
I’m using existing “Amazon Asana” and “Amazon Outlook” connectors configured for “On-demand actions.” The flow builder doesn’t show any toggle to disable approval requirements.
I am unsure about 1 and 3 but I can tell you from personal experience that 2 will require the layer of approval before sending any email. Last time I tested it out, even if you have the ‘run with no confirmation’ toggle turned on when you are creating a schedule, it will still require you to manually approve the email you are trying to send. I would assume this is AWS’ efforts to keep the human in the loop, but multiple community users have expressed the want to reduce the number of approvals that are required when using flows.
If you would like, I can attach the ‘feature-request’ tag to this post which can help increase visibility to the Quick team.
