I have a dashboard which has access to all employees and it is getting data from X dataset and Y dataset has user related permissions data. I have set up row-level security on a X dataset.
Now, is it possible that we can capture user login from dashboard, check for their permission and show the data?
Please note that Y is a massve datasets with millions of rows.
Hi @dhingd
Welcome to the QuickSight community.
You can refer the Row-Level Security documentation for detail.
There are certain restrictions in terms of the number of rules per user that can be created. So, you may need to review your row level security dataset and may need to organize it differently (Pivot ?) to meet QuickSight’s way of handling security.

Hello Brett,
Yes, i have couple of queries. Is it possible to connect individually? it would be really appreciated.
Hi @dhingd,
While the ability to directly connect is not a feature that is offered through the community service, I can send you a separate Email with contact information for our company.
If you’d like to connect with someone from Amazon, I would suggest creating a support ticket.
