Sankey data labels, color formatting and additional targets

  1. Is there a way to add data labels and measures to the Sankey flows? Same to drop on tooltips.

If you look at the graphic below, I’d like to show the percentages and counts for each category (Active/Inactive) at the beginning and end of each Sankey flow.

  1. Can we have additional targets?
In the graphic, we are trying to track change in status over several periods. So the end of one Sankey becomes the start of the next.

  2. How do I set the color for start and target bars?
QS picked the colors. I can’t see how to change them. There also isn’t a data well to drop fields.

Hi @aseaman,
Sankey visuals still have some limitations compared to other options but these are some great points to rise.

  1. The only option in regards to data labels with Sankey’s are to show/hide the titles of the source and destinations.
  2. There is not currently an option to add additional targets. I believe that the way you’ve setup in your example may be the best work around for the time being. You could always turn off the data labels on the second and third graphs, may help with how the flow looks.
  3. To change the colors, go to the field well and click the ellipses for each field that you’re using in the graphs. Choose ‘Edit field colors’ (see below). This should bring up a list of the options and you can change the colors. This will affect all visuals using those fields as well.

I think the addition of more customizing options for Sankey visuals would be helpful.
