An individual reader can sort the list of dashboards either by name (ascending/descending) or by last updated (most recent/oldest). Is there a way via the QS API to force all readers to have a sorted list of dashboards in ascending sequence by name?

Quick Sight does not support forcing or locking a default sorted list order (e.g., always by last published date or ascending by name) for all readers via the API or UI.
I will mark this as a feature request to promote visibility to the support team.
