We tried to create a filled maps using shape files but it is not supported by the platform. Do you have a roadmap to support this type of files?

I can mark this as a feature request for the Quicksight team!
Unfortunately, there is a policy in place that does not allow roadmaps and current products in development to be shared. That being said I highly recommend checking out the What’s New blog page in the community and enabling notifications.
