Still getting “Account does not have subscription to Amazon Quick Sight” error after subscribing

Hello Community,

I need help with an issue I’m facing on Amazon Quick Sight.

My AWS account ID is 222634362485. When I try to open Quick Sight, I get this error:

Oops…
Account 222634362485 does not have subscription to AmazonQuick Sight

Here’s what I have already tried:

  • Tried to signe up for Quick Sight (Standard edition).

  • Verified my IAM user has permissions (AmazonQuick SightFullAccess).

  • Tried switching AWS regions, logging out/in, and even using the direct Quick Sight URL with region.

  • Still, I get the same “no subscription” error.

Questions:

  1. If my subscription still shows this error, what should I check next?

  2. Is there anything specific I need to configure in IAM roles/policies or in Quick Sight’s Security & Permissions section to fix this?

Any advice from the community or AWS support would be greatly appreciated.

I recently created an AWS account. If it is a free account then it does not allow for Quick Sight subscription. You AWS account should be changed to payable account and then I could subscribe to Quick Sight.
