This is a good question, and unfortunately does not seem to be highlighted in the documentation as an available option.
The available documentation states that only the account’s admin has access to edit the default chat agent; so if that is you in this case, I would suggest checking out the available options in the ‘Edit Chat Agent’ section.
I do not see any option around setting as default in one of the chat agents I’ve created, so I’m not sure if that option would exist in the default version or not but worth looking in to the available options.

Additionally, I’ll tag this as a feature request as this would be a nice option for user’s to change their default chat, whether they have access to edit the initial agent or not.
