To display 2 sets of data from same table with 2 different query conditions

Hi,
Requirement is to query same table(dataset) with 2 different query conditions and to display those 2 results alongside each other. Please illustrate if possible.
Eg:
empno, empname, emplocation, deptno, deptname, salary.
First query - empname starting with S or K and show the sum of Salary for both of those.
Second query - deptno and sum of salary under each deptno.
Both being queried from same table with 2 different query conditions to be displayed alongside.

how many entries are you expecting for both?
First only S and K with sum for each?
Second how many deptno and sum for each?

I have 2 visuals to be made with the same condition.
The entries for both are expected to be same in one visual (5 entries) and in another visual they are not same always (4 for first query, 6 to 7 for second query).

Hi @Subrjaya2

In Quick Sight multiple visuals can be created in one sheet and each visual can use the same dataset or different dataset based on the business requirement. And further through one common filter control , users selected filtered values can be applied to multiple /required visuals.

In the below example we can see product sales & country sales in two different visuals from the same dataset and have common Region filter control.

As @apjvinod said you can easy create many visual with different fields from the same dataset. A table visual would be the first option. What’s the best visual to display depends on the requirements.

Hi,
I was going through the link, I am aware of creating 2 visuals for the same, what I was looking for having the Product Sales and Country Sales in the same visual by creating result from the dataset…Could you please confirm if it is possible with a link ?

As filter condition is also different for me, as specified in the emp/dept example i had shown in my first post.

If you want to have different data in the same visual it could be a bit difficult and depends on the exact definition.

You could try something with sumOver and different partitions.

But the different filter criteria could be tricky.
