Update on adding a custom font?

Hi there,

I was wondering if it is currently possible to import custom fonts into a dashboard? Currently we have 8 font options available to us. I know that this is a feature in other dashboard providers such as Microsoft Power BI.

This was an issue that has been raised previously (Is it possible to add a custom font? - #4 by bherard & How to import custom font family in quicksight) and believe it was submitted as a feature request and wanted to enquire if there is any update on that? And when the community could expect to see this added as a feature.

Hi @Zubin_Roy -
QuickSight does support the maintenance of a custom font on an account by account basis. Please reach out to your AWS account team for details on this process.

Hi @Kellie_Burton. Thanks for the information. Do you know if there’s been an update on the feature requests that were raised in these two posts to do with importing custom fonts? (Is it possible to add a custom font? - #4 by bherard & How to import custom font family in quicksight)

No additional update on the ability to add the custom font directly in the UI. The only option to add a custom font at this time is by making the request through the account team and following the process shared on an individual basis.

Thank you for sharing. Based on the information provided here I have reached to my AWS Account team and this is what response I have received:
Due to the managed nature of the service, before a formal introduction, features are required to be tested and pre-configured as per the existing ecosystem, due to which unfortunately, I would not be able to provide an ETA for when or if this feature will be released in future.
To keep abreast with all the latest developments in QuickSight though, please keep an eye on the following links [1][2]. I sincerely apologize for this current limitation and highly appreciate your patience, support and kind understanding on this as we grow the service

Can you please help me bringing clarity if custom fonts can be possible or not?
