Hi @divneet1 and welcome to Quick Suite Community!

Regarding your integration, you will need to setup an integration through Quick Suite for this functionality. I would refer to this link for details on how to do so (Slack integration - Amazon Quick Suite). Hope this helps!

i have alreday tried this
slack integration is done, if i ask questions from my custom chat agnet and send to my slack channel its happening
what is want is directly accessing quicksuite in my slack workspace

i have also created the quicksuite extension
but it is not coming in apps section in my slack

i see some where its mentioned you should have slack admin access
but what if admin had allowed the user , anyone can create an app in slack

Hi @divneet1 ,

Thank you for the clarification. I would recommend looking through this resource as I think it is more applicable to your case, as well as offers a few use cases (Amazon Quick Suite Slack extension user guide - Amazon Quick Suite). May I also ask to what extent do you want to use quick suite in slack?

Thanks for sharing the resource.
I have already gone through all the resource available related to this.

Our main goal is to use QuickSuite inside Slack so that we can directly ask questions about our data and the knowledge base we’ve created in QuickSight – including dashboards, Q topics, and any triggers or alerts.

This will help our team get insights instantly without needing to open the QuickSuite console every time.
same steps we followed , in app agents after creating am extension also i am not able to add to slack.

Hi @divneet1 ,

Based on what you shared earlier, may guess that it may be related to Slack permissions. When I followed the same steps on my end, I was able to view and interact with the QuickSuite extension in Slack, so I’m wondering if your Slack admin may need to grant additional access for the app to appear. If the correct permissions are already enabled and you still don’t see the extension, then I would recommend submitting a support ticket so the support team can investigate further. Refer to this link for creating a support ticket: Creating support cases and case management - AWS Support

Hi @divneet1,

Following up here as it’s been a while since last communication took place on this thread; did you have any additional questions regarding your initial post?

If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.

Thank you

Hi @JacobR

I think we might have missed some slack permissions, we are still checking on that
will update you on that or else will raise the support ticket

Hi @divneet1 ,

From experience, some of the integrations can get tricky, especially with setting access permissions for it.

If I do not hear back from you regarding further questions or comments in 3 business days, I will go ahead and close out this topic. If any other questions about this topic arise in the future, feel free to create a new post, and refer to this post in it.

Thank you
