@khushalt5 I see you have adhoc filtering enabled on this dashboard. Try limiting the data by applying some additional filters and see if you are getting totals and sub-totals. Also worth checking if there are long running queries on RedShift . If you are not getting totals and sub-totals even on a constrained set of data, then I’d open a support case to dive deeper on the failure
You can have any number of filters. If the data that the queries are running against are large, then I was suggesting to try and limit the data to see if results come back faster. In that case we would know about the timeout. Is the DQ source RedShift? Were you able to see the query timings there?
@Shekhar The data source is Redshift, our data is loading properly but the problem is with the custom logic of Quicksight on top of It, where total and sub total is not getting calculated it seems just loading and after some time of interval it showing Visual Error
If so, I would look to open up a support case to see if you can do any more optimziation. I’ assuming it times out or is a bug.
Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
