Hi - I read this tutorial on how to leverage “What-If” forecasting, but I’m not getting an option to edit/access the “What If” context. Specifically, the article says, “Analyze what-if scenarios by choosing a forecasted data point (in the orange band) on the chart, and then choosing What-if analysis from the context menu.”
When I click on a data point in the orange band, no “What-If” option appears. Do I need to do something differently?
Thanks,
Hi @jarrett.cato,
Welcome to the Quick Community! I was looking over the tutorial documentation, and I saw a caveat that the What-if feature only works for single metric evaluations. From your picture, there seems to be 3 metrics on the data points (let me know if that is not what is meant by metrics and I am misunderstanding). I would recommend removing 2 of those metrics and then going over the data point to see if the panel pops up.
Let me know if this helps!
Hi, @WLS-Luis - appreciate the reply! By “3 metrics,” are you referring to “Expected,” “Upper Bound,” and “Lower Bound”? If so, those values are auto-added by the forecasting feature to show the range of auto-forecast accuracy. I believe I’m only reporting on 1 metric (the blue line), but I could be wrong! haha
Hi @jarrett.cato,
My apologies, that makes perfect sense that each metric would be the line trends. Just so I can have a better idea of your use case, could you send me an Arena View link of your analysis? This might help me to see why the What if panel is not popping up.
Thank you!
