Action (Select) to Change Parameter Value

Is it possible to have a user Action (a user Select on a point in a Visual) set the value of a Parameter?

I have a set of visuals that calculate values relative to an anchor month (a Parameter). I’d like the user to be able to set the anchor month by selecting on a month in a bar chart.

If you want to set a parameter via select action you have to use a navigation action.
