It’s currently not possible to create a date range filter without selecting a start date and an end date. It would be great if we could leave both empty so that the analysis/dashboard includes all dates by default.
I found a workaround but it takes so many more steps:

Change the date range filter to a relative date filter.

Add it as a control or to the sheet.

Open the control and choose any date range.

Close the control and select Reset.

The date filter now shows “All”.
