Asana Integration – Submit button unresponsive when creating a task

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with the Asana integration in Amazon Quick Suite.

When I try to create a new task through the integration, I fill in all the required fields and click the Submit button, but nothing happens — no error message, no confirmation, the action request keeps open until i cancel the action and the task is not created in Asana.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a chat conversation in Amazon Quick Suite

  2. Use the Asana integration to create a new task

  3. Fill in all required fields (workspace, project, task name, etc.)

  4. Click the Submit button

  5. Nothing happens — no response, no error, no task created

What I’ve tried so far:

  • Re-authenticating (signing out and back into the Asana integration)

  • Verifying that all required fields are filled in correctly

  • Checking that my Asana account has the necessary permissions

Anyone experiencing the same issue?

Hi @reysil I would open an issue with AWS Support. They should be able to help you with a resolution. There may be some configurations that the administrator has enabled that may prevent certain functionality. Details of which we cannot discuss on a public forum.
