If you are concerned on any other limitations when it comes to using Highcharts, the second link shared above also mentions the following:
“As of this writing, the Highcharts visual has the following limitations:
- Interactivity – No filter, navigation, or URL actions are supported (however, tooltips are possible using the Highcharts JSON)
- External resources – Linking to GeoJSON and images is not supported
- Color exp – Field colors aren’t available; default theme colors are used
- Filtering – Ad-hoc filters are not supported”

To add on to the last response, I received this message in QuickSight one time when trying to utilize a High chart visual that’s not supported by QuickSight yet. I believe these are the currently available visual options:
