Cannot create quicksight account

Hi,
I have a problem signing into the quicksight. I simply cannot create an account. After filling in the data and clicking “Create account“ button, the page refreshes with no error/log with explanation why that happens. I’ve tried different browsers, incognito mode, clearing browser cache: nothing helps.
In case someone had an issue like that, please let me know if u were able to fix it.
note: I have free tier AWS account, I am using “Password-based or Single-Sign On (Recommended)” authentification method (although i’ve tried other ones - same issue happens)

I actually had a similar issue when I initially went to create my Amazon Quick account. The most likely issue is that your user doesn’t have the specific permissions required to generate the account.

Can you check that you have these permissions:

  • quicksight:CreateAccountSubscription
  • quicksight:Subscribe

If you include those permissions for your user, then you should be able to complete the task without a problem!

Thanks for the reply. I actually have them, still not working. I’ve also tried creating it using the CLI, but I get this error there: aws: [ERROR]: An error occurred (PreconditionNotMetException) when calling the CreateAccountSubscription operation: Account ************ does not have subscription to AmazonQuickSight.
I fear that the problem comes from the fact that I’m using free tier AWS account.
