Can't add visual to data story: some visuals are not shown in this view

I tried to add visual to data story but I can’t add after I select a dashboard. When I hover a visual, it shows me "some visuals are not shown in this view. My visuals are table, bar chart, pie chart.

Hi @jjc

Does the underlying dataset has Row-level-Security / Column-Level-Security filters are enabled ? . Currently data stories are not supported when RLS/CLS is enabled.

Could you please check and confirm , will mark it as feature request .

nope, no row-level-security nor column-level security filter. the dataset is a spice uploaded from cvs. Does data stories supports this type of dataset?

Thank you for letting us know. I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
