Can't Load all the data error in Quicksight visual

Hi all,

I am facing a visual error for one of my dashboards (see screenshot below).
The Dashboard was working fine until one week ago (data is imported through SPICE).
However, since today, the pivot table visual would through the following error:
“Can’t load all the data
We encountered an error while processing your request
For more information see Troubleshooting

Would you know why QS would throw this error?
Thanks

Hello @nicola_sandri , welcome to the Quicksight community!

How many fields have you entered into the Rows, Columns, and Values field wells of your pivot table?

Hello @duncan!
The pivot only has 7 fileds in Rows and 21 Values (no columns).

I don’t think this can be due to poor dashboard performance given the above, and the fact that this has worked just fine in the past 6 months ?

Thanks!
Nicola

Hey @nicola_sandri !

Is your pivot table still throwing that error, and compared to the previous 6 months, have you changed anything about the dataset or underlying analysis?

Pivot table’s have a limit of 500k records. Can you try filtering the data down to the view that you need if you haven’t already?

Hi @duncan ,
The dashboard started throwing this error only last week - it was working fine since then, for the past 8 months.
The datasets have not changed recently. After the latest change to the dataset, we were using this dashbaord for about 2 months, then only last week this error started to appear. I have checked the dataset, and also I see only 1M rows increase WoW (from 39M to 40M).

Also, looked at the records # and by no mean these will exceeed the 500K records, so out of options here.

Thanks.
Nicola

Hello @nicola_sandri , I’m sorry to get back to you this late!

Are you still experiencing this issue?

If so, I would recommend creating and AWS support ticket. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf.

Hello @nicola_sandri !

Were you able to raise a ticket with AWS support about this pivot table issue, and if so could you share their response for the community?
