Can't send report to user, quicksight tells me it's RLS but the user can see the sheet

Hi all,

I want to send a report of the sheet called processes to a user: mateoile41.
I set up row level security so that mateoile41 can see only appropriate items, and dynamic default parameters so that the data he is defaulted to only what’s relevant to him.

The image below shows mateoleon41’s view of the dashboard.

However, when sending him a report, I get this message back from Quicksight:

It says no data on all visuals caused by RLS; however, he can see the data in the dashboard and the RLS and DDP I set up for him are working based on his view.

When scheduling the report, I tried doing Original dashboard and Custom view, and neither of these worked.

Please let me know if there is anything I am missing here

Are you adding any filters for the report before you send it?

Hi Duncan,

I am not sure what you mean by this. I don’t know where I would even add filters to the reports.

Would you mind clarifying?
