Change monthly to annual subscription for QuickSight Author roles

We want to change from monthly to annual subscription for QuickSight Author roles.

Our questions are:

  1. When will the costs for the annual subscriptions be due if the changeover takes place on October 1, 2024?

  2. Are the costs distributed linearly over the individual months or are they charged all at once?

  3. If I buy 300 accounts via the annual subscription, but have a total of 350 authors, will 300 accounts be charged with the annual costs and 50 accounts with the monthly costs?

  4. Are the annual accounts tied to a specific user, or can the 300 accounts be swapped completely? Example: 300 annual subscriptions are purchased. There are 350 authors in QuickSight. We pay for 50 accounts on a monthly basis. An author is deleted from QuickSight who was previously billed via the annual subscription. The next month we have 349 authors in QuickSight and only pay the monthly fee for 49 accounts. Is this logic correct?

Does your company have an AWS Account Representative that you could reach out to? From my experience, when it comes to these more company/use-case specific pricing requests, they likely will be the best source of information.
