Creating a Calendar-Style Line Graph with Color Shading in Quicksight

I have a visual in Tableau, which is a line graph customized to resemble a calendar. The visualization includes numbers where each number’s color is blue. The shade of blue varies based on the value: the number 0 is the lightest shade, and as the numbers increase, the color shade becomes progressively darker.

I’ve attached a screenshot of the Tableau visualization for reference.

Question : Is it possible to create a similar visualization in AWS Quicksight, where the color shade varies based on the value? If not, are there any workarounds or alternative methods to achieve this in Quicksight?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Hi @Nitish_reddy,
QuickSight’s visual type that allows to show a measure for the intersection of two dimensions, with color-coding is called Heat Map. The color of the different intersection vary depending on where values fall in the overall range. While you would be able to get your calendar constructed with that visual (given that you prepared your dataset specifically for that purpose), the only option to also show the day of the month on top of it would be to change the sheet layout to Free-form and then overlay a table with transparent background and not showing headers, lines, etc.
