Dashboard owner

Hello everyone,
I wanted to ask: I want to transfer some of my dashboards to one of the developers on my team so that he will be the owner of the dashboard and have full permissions like me. From what I saw, there is only the option of transferring to a co-owner. Are there things he won’t be able to do on the dashboard as a co-owner? For example, from what I saw, he can’t schedule on the dashboard - does that indicate to him that he needs to ask the owner for permission (from me…)?

QuickSight does provide an option within the admin console to directly transfer asset ownership to another user. This allows an administrator to seamlessly transfer assets including (dashboards, datasets, analyses, and data sources) owned by a user.

A QS author is leaving. How do we make sure the dashboards she developed still run, without her being an author? Will making someone else a co-owner of the dashboard be enough?

Hi The error message you shared clearly depicts that you don’t have the access to Quicksight data source. Once you got that access after that you were able to duplicate the dataset.
