A dataset I am currently using in QS Arena randomly failed. It does not allow me to click on the dataset to access and configure the dataset, and shows this error when I click on it in the Datasets tab. The analysis and dashboard that uses this dataset both display “Cannot access data for this visual”.
When I try to access this dataset by replacing an analysis with it, this is the error that is generated.
Anyone have any idea on why this error occurred and how to restore everything? This dataset is SPICE and just consists of some csv files that are joined. It does not allow me to edit or remove or do anything with this dataset.
This looks like error loading from QuickSight itself and not in particular from Arena. Can you try different browser. Also check from different machine, to make sure firewall rules are not preventing certain network calls. Please let us know if you still face issue.
I have forwarded the information to SA managing this website. Let me follow up and find out if anything else needs to be updated on Arena side.
Can you also try doing same action from different machine ?
Here is a list of the things that I have attempted but resulted in no progress:
Recreated the dataset and attempted to replace the analysis with the new dataset, still resulting in cannot access data for this visual)
*Tried to replace the dataset with an empty set of data
*Accessed with different users and on different browsers
Please let me know if there are any other things that I can try on my end. Thank you!
Thank you for letting us know. I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
