Failed to load your dataset

I created a dataset by joining two datasets using the boto3 sdk (create_data_set method and update_data_set method). Although executed successfully, when accessing the dataset via QuickSight UI Datasets, QuickSight throws an error ‘failed to load your dataset’.

I understand a similar issue has been encountered previously under the thread Dataset Load Failture , but there doesn’t seem to be a solution for that.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Looks like the issue is specific to your environment. I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can deep dive into the dataset details and can help you further.

Here are the steps to open a support case.

If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
