Depending on the conditions, only the header of the table is printed

I’m currently embedding a Quick Sight dashboard into my website. When using the Print feature under the conditions below, I’m encountering an issue where only the header of the table is printed, and the rest of the table content is missing.

Environment:

  • Windows 11 with display scaling set to 125%
  • Browser zoom level set to 100%
  • Print setup screen: Paper size – A4, Orientation – Portrait
  • Print preview detailed settings: Paper size – A4, Margins – Default, Scale – Default
  • Under the above conditions, scroll the table and display the center area.

Problem

When printing under the above conditions, only the header of the table is rendered in the printout — the rest of the rows do not appear.

Please advise if there’s a workaround or if this issue can be addressed. Let me know if you need additional details.

Hi @ttientrung and welcome to the Quick Sight community!
This is interesting, you mentioned that ‘depending on the conditions’; does the printing work properly when utilizing different conditions?

Hi @Brett, thank you for your response.

Not really, the printing works properly when both the display scale and browser zoom are set to 100%. However, when either of these settings is set to a value other than 100%, the printed output doesn’t exactly match the print preview — some data rows may shift upward.

That said, the issue where only the table header is printed occurs specifically under the condition that I mention above when display scale is set to 125%.

Hi @ttientrung and thank you for the additional information.
You can check out the embedding sdk for Quick Sight but I don’t believe I noticed anything about printing sections/views. Your best option for this scenario may be to create a support ticket to get more direct assistance from the AWS support team.

Hi @ttientrung,
